Kate Holcomb, MD, FAAD, graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2004 with the Mark Gibbs III graduation award. She was chief resident in dermatology at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Mount Sinai. She served in the U.S. Navy to fulfill her commitment for the Health.

She actively participates in clinical studies on FDA clinical trials, as well as cosmetic products and procedures. She opened her own office, Pure Dermatology, in March 2017.

Dr. Holcomb is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, American Acne and Rosacea Society, Skin of Color Society, North American Contact Dermatitis Society, Louisiana Dermatological Society and Women’s Dermatologic Society for which she has served on a number of committees.
